About David Zasloff

David Zasloff has been called one of the great performers of our time. He is a comedian, musician, poet, philosopher, and author whose talents are endless.

Zasloff has written two books: “Zen Judaism, The Joy of Suffering” and “The Complete Book of Everything, Part I,” which is a collection of his comic monologues.

An accomplished songwriter and film composer, Zasloff has produced four CDs, and his music has been on the daytime drama, “The Young and The Restless.”

He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays trumpet, piano, percussion, guitar, autoharp, shofar, and as a master of the Japanese shakuhachi flute, he recently played on the multi-million selling Linkin Park CD, “Meteora.”

Zasloff has also been the musical director for fourteen HBO comedy channel shows and one Showtime special. With his own band, Zasloff plays “Zen Jazz,” a combination of African, Japanese, Jewish, Latin, Caribbean, and Bebop.

He has also been a ski instructor, wilderness guide, white water river guide, stained glass artist, actor, playwright and record label owner.
