About Doug Hallock
You are invited to experience the inspired music of Christian Singer/Songwriter Doug Hallock.
In 2004, Doug found himself hopelessly addicted to heroin. Heroin had taken over his life. Separated from his wife of twenty-three years and his four year old daughter, Doug had hit rock bottom. There seemed to be no way out.
God is ever faithful. After his wife and family performed an intervention, Doug found himself in the Teen Challenge program where he found salvation through Jesus Christ, and a new way of life.
He began playing the piano, writing music and then going out on a limb singing about the joy that was in his heart. Hear him as he sings about salvation, addiction and recovery.
Listen with Doug and the band as they share their hearts and lives with you through the original raw and edgy lyrics of Doug's songs. Here you will find the victory we all can have over our struggles, forgiveness from God and forgiveness of ourselves.
Following the release of "Take This Cup," Doug formed the band Broken. The members of Broken are a diverse collection of musicians who share Doug's heart for Christ and getting the message of salvation and forgiveness out there through his newly founded music ministry. The band is heavily involved in several recovery-oriented programs such as Teen Challenge and Celebrate Recovery located at Pantano Christian Church.
