About Melba J. Sutton
Melba J. Sutton is a native of Kansas and was raised on a farm in Ness City.
Melba studied classical piano as a child and also at Kansas State University. She returned to her love of playing the piano during in 2006 as a testimony to the healing qualities of music.
"Awakening of the Soul" is a collection of eight solo piano pieces and a reprise of two of the solo piano pieces with synthesized orchestration. This CD is a gift where the music offers internal guidance for the transmission of energy, imagination, joy, and creativity.
Pianist and composer Melba J. Sutton devotes her life to the social work profession working with individuals who struggle with alcohol and drug addictions.
