About Tommy Holmes

With nine songs already featured in film and national-television, Tommy is a natural talent that shines from the L.A. backdrop. He's been heard throughout the California music scene, including the House of Blues, and now - Tommy's been hitting the eastern lights. He gained even higher marks in circuits during a northeast tour with the 35 year acoustic-duo, Aztec Two-Step.

Originally from San Jose, California, Tommy taught himself to play piano at age nine and guitar at age eleven. Known for strong melodies and thoughtful lyrics, Tommy works hard to tell the truth in his songs.

"My songs are an extension of my life. When working on a song, I always ask myself if I'm telling the truth about myself or my beliefs. I think you can tell when a songwriter is speaking his or her truth and when they are faking it. I never want to fake it. Never!"

Tommy has written and recorded songs for the film 39 Pounds of Love. He has also had several songs featured on national television shows such as ABC's The Nine, The WB's Dawson's Creek and UPN's Jake 2.0.

Tommy can be found playing various venues in the greater Los Angles and the greater Boston area in the spring and summer.
