Some Nice Things People Have Said
The vocals are very much like the Eagles, Crosby, Stills and Nash or Kenny Rogers on a good day. The lyrics are refreshing and glorify Jesus without sounding preachy. This collection of songs cannot be pigeon-holed into one genre; they are meaningful pop, country and high-quality contemporary Christian wrapped into one.

'I Followed You' has such meaning to me; it is so inspirational. When I’m having a down day the words in the songs are so lifting, I hope it has the same effect for other people. Thank you so much for sharing it with me.

If You Could Not Fail
On February 21st, 2006, my family was visited by tragedy. My niece was involved in a terrible automobile accident, suffering a traumatic brain injury. At this writing, nearly two years later, she continues to improve and is a powerful witness to God’s strength and love. She is a true inspiration.
The days following her accident changed my life. As I watched with amazement, the outpouring of love for her and our family, the waiting room always alive with prayer and compassion, I noticed a woman sitting all alone. Carmen’s son had also been in an accident. Carmen was from another city. Her son had been in a coma for weeks and there she was, alone. Without money for food or shelter she slept, or tried to, in the hospital waiting room.
During the trip home, my niece was still in very critical shape and I worried but I knew she would be OK. I don’t know how I knew, I just felt it. The image of Carmen sitting alone wouldn’t leave me and I realized that I hadn’t even spoken a word to her. With a heart full of empathy for her situation, I did nothing.
Some weeks later my Pastor posed a question; “if you knew you could not fail what one thing would you do for God”? Carmen’s face flashed into my mind and Carmenhouse Ministry was born. I don’t know exactly how I’m going to begin this work for God but I do know I cannot fail.
Carmenhouse Ministry is a leap in faith; it cannot fail. The only failure would be to do nothing. If I continue to work at this much-needed ministry, I have faith it will become what God wants it to become.
Beginning this ministry has seemed quite daunting at times, especially for someone without business or promotional experience. I’ve been moving forward slowly, one step at a time. The first step was to find some source of funding to launch Carmenhouse Ministry.
The music followed. I’d like to say I wrote the songs. I wrote the words on the paper and heard the melodies but I believe the songs came from some other place.
To everyone that helped produce this music and to anyone who purchases this CD, thank you. Soon, perhaps as you read this, someone will turn to look for help and we will be there.
Proceeds from the sale of this CD fund the Carmenhouse Ministry.
Thank you for your support,
